Stargazing Two Years Ago
Somehow what’s far away,
What makes the world so vast,
What makes the world spin slowly
and makes the stars seem fast,
Makes me disappear,
And makes what matters not
Matter only more,
Then makes that wish a dot
Smaller than the smallest star
And just as far away.
A brighter light, that unsuccessful,
Never reached my brain
