Staring at Sunset

Staring at sunset while sitting on the beach with my feet in the sand. My surrounding are as peaceful as can be, the sand, the sound of crashing waves, the seagulls in the distance. When I sit and watch the sun slowly drop into the ocean, I can not think of a place I would rather be. I can sit there and for a few moments, I can hear myself think. When the sun finally sinks below the water, the light turns to dark. Until the next sunset.

This poem was written from inspiration of my favorite place in the world...the beach.
