Starlit eyes

Oh how I long for your warm embrace. To see your moonlit face, to gaze into your starlit eyes. I dream of you wiping away all the pain and the lies. But alas, this shall never come to pass. Try as I might, no matter how much I scream and fight. Yet my soul lays silently, alone, another night.

I am a novice poet that believes that the best poetry comes from your heart and emotions. I am a Norse Pagan who just so happens to be transgender and lesbian. I believe that the whole world is my muse and I get inspiration from everyone and everything that I come into contact with. Words are some of the most powerful things that we as humans posses and if used right; they can change the hearts of many. Art comes in many forms and poetry is one of them. So why not change the world with art, one word at a time?
