Stars

Of course the stars

have inquired and required

so many thoughts and actions

toward them.

The stars ask us

in whispers to notice them

every night.

The stars above see us below

they miss the bodies they once inhabited.

Of course the stars weep for their

long

lost

friends.

Of course

the stars

send us

the pain

for it is the only way they know how to love.
