Stars

Look to the sky, you'll find me there, Somewhere deep in the atmosphere, Riding some so-distant star, Shooting for a shooting star. So many nights I watched in wait, Wait for the day I'd finally see, A millisecond flash of light, as stars begin to clash, And when the galaxy opens wide, I'll take a look deep inside; Find a future to explore, I can find it I swear. So look to the left you'll find me there, Riding stars from out there, Grazing the earth's outer light, Something will come to life. You know the closer you get to something, the tougher it is to see it. And I'll never take it for granted. Look to the sky you'll find me there, Somewhere in the so-distant future, Wading through a pool of dust, Of stars, of milky ways, Trust, Me I'll let you in my life, just look up from the night, And I'll never take it for granted. . . Good night. . .
