Stars

The stars look so good from below The mistletoe But now they just remind me Of the you I used to know. Each star holds a memory Of what we used to be And now I’m out here wishing You were still with me. There is no need to fret For you are not alone The feelings that you feel Are just a giant bowl. You start out at the top And slide your way on down It won’t be long for you are strong And no one can stay down.
