Our future is closed off with bars

Of your negativity, reminiscing on the "better" days

When the glory days were in your hands

You reach out but they are gone

Blown out like candles in the air I breathe.

You've taught us well, things we know,

Lessons that made us better.

But for now you need to step down

As we take the world with open arms

As we try to mend the scars,

The future looks bright from the inside not the out,
