STARS IN NIGHT
She looked upward
Towards the night sky
And asked the moon
Really, where do I belong?
She realized it was there,
In the darkness of the
Night, that she felt most
Near to herself.
In the light, she was frightened.
Golden sunlight broke her.
Her soul was too fragile,
Too exposed.
