Stars in the Sky
Laughter is so beautiful.
Emotions on the inside translated to the outside.
But it's lost now.
It was stolen.
By the drunk. By the lies. By the hate.
I was always told that I had pretty teeth.
That compliment has vansihed.
Stains on my face. On my pillow. Cloudy days.
No more twinkle in my eye. Shadows trail me.
My best friend: darkness
Words that never were used to describe me became me.
Doubt. Insecure. Quiet.
Confusion haunts me.
Rage fills my ears; I avoid eyecontact.
I glance. Just maybe...
A shinning object. So pristine. Jagged at the edges.
The future is nothing. Just emptiness, often what I imagine the world was before humans
So tired, but can't sleep.
Unhealthy is destroying me.
Feel sick, but nothing is wrong...
...Physically at least.
I slip out my open window, the pristine object in my hand.
Qucik rapid chest compulsions.
Salty liquid rushes down the palness of my skin.
"Why not?" rings in my head
I glance upward.
The pristine object slips out of my hand.
A twinkle in the sky.
The sky screams hope.
Hope for the healthy
My cracked lips of pain spread for the first time in a long time to show the teeth that everyone loves.
Today I laugh because I searched for the healthy and I found it.
Laughter is so beautiful.
