The Start

Life is full of emotions For how to deal with them, there are various notions Perhaps speak out for all to hear But then again, what if nobody is near? Writing them down is probably best And let time and people do the rest My dear, I've gone through loss before And it left my heart shattered and sore They say once shame on you, twice its on me But at times it's not fair, that I can see So I go to my drawer and get pen and paper Because these emotions can't wait for later My dear, you might say I'm being torn apart I would tell you, "Loss is just the start."
