A Start

As a child, i tried

i cannot lie, it just happened

i'd write stories of magic

on the block of a computer

then came the time i'd remember

i started sooner

when high school came,

then a boyfriend

not much to gain

only a week it had to last

and right after i discovered

what came to me in class

i started to write

i started to rhyme

the class held exceptional time

i'd write of feelings, how cliche

it just came though

to write of love and pain

how expected of a little girl at the time?

i was just another person

trying to bust what's inside
