The Start

When or why did it start? I cannot say.

The words have always flowed so naturally

From pencil to paper so much smoother

Than from mind to mouth and so it is

That I write. It is not a choice.

Stories and pictures inspire the mind

And the words form in pattern

Without pattern.

Poetry; From where and why did it come to me?

It seems to have been there from the start.
