Starting Over

Lost in pain, earth's shattered, My heart is just a bit tattered. Beats softly, still going, My light is dying out, barely glowing. Fell for you, only you, Just when my heart needed to be broken in two. Love by day, hate by night, Isn't it about time I take flight? Spread my wings, and do many great things. Start over fresh, start over new, Because it's time I say hello to the world, And goodbye to you. "Farewell bad memories, so long sad feelings," Because I found someone else with powers of healing. Who knows how to care, who knows how to love, Who can give me the things I was deprived of.
