Starved

I just want to know what it feels like

To matter.

To matter to someone, something, I just want to know how it feels.

It seems like everyday

I make everyone feel appreciated,

Feel wanted,

Feel loved.

I’m starved from these affections,

Everyday I go,

Unappreciated

Unwanted

Unloved.

Maybe that is why I do what I do,

I go out of my way for others,

I cast aside my Selfishness,

My Anger

My Hate

Because I know what it’s like to not matter.
