Static Dialogue
Do you remember those lonely nights in the hotel room?
How the wind smelled faintly of dead roses and cigarettes?
You and I propped up on the couch, watching the season finale of our favorite show?
With the faint hum of the AC in the background and the feeling of not belonging anywhere even though I was right by your side?
As I look you in the eye and tell you I love you, just to have you only love yourself.
And all of a sudden, the smell of roses and cigarettes is gone and the AC humming stopped,
It turns out, we were living each other's lives
