Statue

You're weak, and you cry, You fail, before you try, You're covered in shame, And wear disgrace just the same, You don't think before you act, Or even know how to behave You God forsaken slave, How can you easily submit, And would rather get hit, Than spit, In the offender’s eye, You cry, you cry, You don't move, you don't move, You're stuck in your old ways, That granted you these nightmares of days, But you can't change, The only words you choose to hear are your own, You can't be gold when you're made out of stone,, You're the composer of the broken record of your life, How much more proof do you need, You're to blame for your strife, You're just a statue, Who just endures all the pain, I hope one day, you get washed down by the rain, And maybe your darkness will stop obscuring your messed up mind, And you will leave your shackles behind, But you don't move, you cry, you cry, You've got a permanent tear drop beneath your right eye, You're silent, your lips are always sealed, And because of it, your heart will never be healed, You're pushed around and knocked down by any passerby, But you can't support yourself, you cry, you cry, My anger introduced you to a whole new language of hate, But you're quick to accept your fate, You cry, you cry, Not knowing what else to do, But no matter how strong my hatred is, I'll always cry for you.
