I want

I want

I want

I want

I want

to spend time with anyone,

but it's too late in the day

no one will text back.

to stay funny.

to actually write down

not just think about what's inside,

what I might have to offer.

to stop embarrassing myself,

and to laugh at myself when I do.

(to stop waiting for gay marriage.)

I want

to not worry

I want to stop worrying

that my time could be behind my beliefs.

I want

I want

to stop worrying about

whether I've worn out and overused

the meaning of "I love you",

because I can't stop saying it enough.

to stop having to defend the things I like.

how 80-year-old me

might regret the choices I’ve made,

or miss my young self, my young looks.

I want to be a

fabulous, mirthful, wise,

old lady who embraces her age.

I want to escape my feelings of helplessness.

I want to stop thinking about death.

I want

I want

I want

I want

to find a comfortable compromise

between feminism and the glamour of Sex and the City.

to lose weight,

even though I feel pretty right now.

I want to never stop listening to music,

but I also want to do something while I'm listening,

because this is the millionth time

I've played solitaire,

and I never win.

I want this particular video game

because the reviews suggest the plot is good.

I want a single room in college

so

very

badly.

I want more time.

I want to know what I'm doing

when the time is right.

I want to know how to write songs.

I want growing up

not to suck as much as I'm expecting it to.

I want my mom and dad

to be the healthiest old people ever.

I want

I want

I want

I want

I want

FOOD!!!

to regain the happiness of my youth,

when I never wanted to leave the people I was with,

when I wanted the night to never end.

to never inconvenience anyone.

the reasons why I admire someone

to have sunk in.

I want this summer

to be even more productive,

more fun,

than last year.

I want to see that musical everyone gushes about.

I want flights to be way cheaper.

I want to like yogurt.

I want

I want

I want

I want

people to like me.

forgiveness.

revenge.

to make Mom proud every minute and every day

(except when I don’t want her watching).

I want

I want

I want

I want

I want

I want

to go out to dinner every night!

to give the people in my life

that I marvel at, that I love,

in varying degrees,

what I think they deserve.

the people I fantasize about arguing with

to stop being jackasses about their opinions,

generalizations,

conclusions about life.

I want to stop fantasizing about arguing with them.

I want the people around me

to talk out their problems.

I want to wear designer stuff.

I want people to forget the stupid things I’ve done to them,

The ones we can’t laugh off.

I want to know for certain

my cats are happy they live with me.

I want

proud people in my life

to get over themselves

and realize that they are always sad

because they don’t see

they just like

the people around them.

I want to cover so many songs!

I want to be considered

a great mind,

a unique point of view,

according to Wikipedia,

and I don't mind

if no one knows it's me.

I want the hard stuff

to come easy to me.

I want to try hard

only when I want to.

I want zero-calorie beer to exist.

I want to give advice

to my old self.

I want to waste as little EVERYTHING as possible.

to be a good

to be a good

to be a good.
