Dogs give birth to dogs. 

Cats give birth to cats.

Bears give birth to bears. 

Cows give birth to cows.

Snakes give birth to snakes. 

Apple seeds give birth to apple trees.

Sunflower seeds give birth to sunflowers.

What do all of these have in common? None have spirits.

Humans give birth to humans, consisting of body, soul, and spirit.
