Staying
At first I was very skeptical about this
Love was not my worst or best suit
And ours could've been a hit and miss
Until I finally grew and went to pursuit
A smile rose like the sun in the morning
My life was filled with pride and joy
But suddenly, you were gone without any warning
I had lost you, my only favorite boy
Soon my life had begun to crash
You had gone and I was left alone
Then everything changed within a small flash
My life snapped in half like a bone
You said you were here now to stay
But to you, staying meant very far away.
