Staying Determined

Much like the popular game

My Life takes a similar name

Where time has caused me to fall

I've stood, high above it all.

Without my Determination,

I could never come back for graduation

Without this power,

My life never could flower

Never could blossom and bloom

And I would be trapped in a cycle of doom.

Depression, Sickness of the heart and soul

Saved by a small wish, a devilish goal

Friends come and go, Bullies too

But one thing will stay true

To give me Life, to give me confirmation,

I had to be given the gift of Determination.
