i stay, he says
leaves my brain a mess
and my heart is shattered
you know i don’t matter
stop pretending i do
stop being like you
amazing and kind
i’m not worth your time
just leave me alone
before we’re too old
before you’re stuck with me
you don’t want to be
so just go back to sleep
it’s more important than me
