Stealing Heaven

 Conversations
 Erupt around me -
 Thin women
 Discussing
 Fat men
 A the perverted
 Converse
 On the perverse.
 Pages turned
 In books unread -
 No one's seeking knowledge,
 Just an end
To end all the tragic endings,
 Perhaps a moment's peace.
 We're stealing heaven,
 Trying to gain entry
 Without passing through death's gate.
