Step
Step inside—listen close, lean in,
These walls have ears, but never skin.
I speak, I shout, my words fall flat,
No one hears me—no one’s at that mat.
They bend their world to only them,
My voice gets lost—just like a gem.
I’ve carried nights, I’ve carried pain,
A quiet storm I can’t contain.
The door swings wide, the stars ignite,
They pull me forward, into light.
Not out of spite, not out of blame,
I chase a fire with no name.
The streets will wait, the winds will guide,
I step with hope, I step with pride.
Step inside—then watch me rise,
I’ll be heard where silence dies.
