I care to sidle along
Numerous instances
Of lull and displeasure,
To more fertile grounds
Beaming with vitality
And sweet memories-
Nectar so impassioned
As to arouse my bones,
Drifts down ichor-like
A fountain of youth,
And ambrosial recounts
Feed an ever-turning mind
And sate a desire for past.
