Step Back.

Let's just take a step back.

Back to times where

staying up late was a crime,

recess was our favorite time,

worrying wasn't on our mind,

being mean wasn't like our kind,

the only hurt we felt was a bruise,

and crayons were the only thing we ever wanted to use.

When we were young we looked up to grown ups and said

I cant wait to grow up.

Now here we are just

crying over heart break

because it's no longer just a tummy ache,

parents are getting mad

but dont worry "it's just a fad",

always trying to be cool

because you dont want to play the fool.

If only we could just step back.
