A Step In Happiness

A Step In Happiness

Letters written on my walls,

I’m wiping all of my scars.

Smiling on my back, full of knives,

They only taught me forgiveness.

I bleed from the thorns of my roses,

Still holds them even when it pains.

Tears aren’t my best friends,

But that’s what will relieve my heart aches.

Cherry blossoms, I look forward;

Even when the leaves get faded.

Complaining minds that’s all I heard,

Yet stood still reflecting my naive kind.

Mirrors doesn’t lie,

About the soul in my eye.

The seasons ’ve changed in time,

Once again, I’m strong for life.
