step out of the bath

Incense and kitchen knives

Blood stains and soap bottles

Blow out the candles and step out of the bath

Remember the boy who took you away from this

Remember the boy who put you back here

Remember how scared you are to believe that happiness exists

Step out of the bath

Don’t give others the satisfaction of your destruction

Stand in silence and look at your flesh in the mirror

Notice that you are biting your hand without realizing

Wonder if you’re going insane

Wonder if you’re going to wake up from this dream

Wonder if your mind will ever let you stop having nightmares of him

Step out of the bath

Blow out the candles

Lay on the floor in the darkness mixing blood with water with tile

Cry because you’ll never be anything different

Cry because this is who you chose the be

Step out of the bath

Put on your clothes

Step outside carrying the candle of hope
