Step Out Into the Light

Blood drips down sinks into the ground.

Lost in the light, where went the dark.

A flame in the dark……Safe still…….

But just the sight burns me to the core.

As the first rays of dawn creep into my mind

I can’t but scream.

Step out! Step out into the light! Conquer your fears!

Step out! Step out into the light. Conquer your fears.

Light is safe. Light is home. It pierces to the bone.

Paralyzing. The light creeps in.

The dark may be comfortable. Familiar…

But is it really so terrifying?

Creep out-just to dash back in.

The daylight stays. Shadows remain.

A place to rest.

Step out. Step out into the light. Conquer your fears.

Step out-Step out into the light-Conquer your fears.

Light is safe-Light is home-It-it pierces to the bone.

Welcome to the world. Welcome to life.

Will you hide in the shadows? Receive only a glimpse?

Or will you step out? Break free of your chains?

This world may seem cold. It may seem hard.

But fight for your way, Fight to survive,

Til you learn how to live.

Find the ones who Make it fun.

The ones who bring an adventure.

But first you must STEP OUT!

Step out! Step out into the light! Conquer your fears!

Step out. Step out into the light. Conquer your fears

Light is safe. Light is home. And it will pierce you to the bone.

Live free. Have fun. And find what makes you rich.

A toe in the water, is nowhere near enough to live.

No, nowhere near enough….Just enough to survive…

So….

Step out. Step out into the light. Conquer your fears

Step out. Step out into the light. Conquer your fears

Light is safe. Light is home.

And let no regret ever grace your lips.

For here we are

And this? Is our world.
