Stephen

If I'm stranded on an island,

I think I'll bring my friend:

A boyfriend, mentor, counselor,

Someone I depend.

He fulfills my basic needs:

Gives me shelter in his heart,

Feeds me when I'm hungry,

Clothes when it fall apart.

He'll help me go pick coconuts,

Because I am so short,

Catch meat for us to feast on,

All sizes, shapes, of the sort.

I'd need his brain to help me,

Build a house of leaves.

He would know the physics,

Make our shelter immune to theives.

He supports when I'm tired,

Shapes who I want to be,

Pushes me to do better,

Helps me chase my dream.

But importantly I need him,

Because he's my best friend,

When we're stuck on this island,

He'd be there, 'til the end.
