Stephen King Island

My cosmos could not be truly mine

If it did not consist of a myriad of literature.

From Charles Dickens to Stephen King,

Without it, my survival rate would decrease and sputter.

Stuck on an island, surrounded by a raging sea?

Who or what would I take to spend that unbearable isolation with me?

I need not food; I will find it.

I need not company; I despise it.

I only require my biggest desire: My collection of Stephen King.

                                     Adventure, suspense, romance, and crime.

I would travel the world and leave the island behind.

The world at my fingertips, the universe in my hand.

My books make more of a companion than man
