Stepping On Me

I feel you

Stepping all over me

You're disruptive, bipolar, always on edge

Yet you keep me happy

You're someone to come to

Someone to hold

I wouldn't want to be anywhere if you couldn't be with me

I dread the day I won't see your slow blinking eyes

Staring back into mine

I feel your soft steps walking over me all the time

No you're not easy

Not easy to tame

But when you love me

You have all of me

But when you bite

We'll just have to work through that, won't we?

Although I must leave you

To do what I deem right

I do love you

I tell you this all the time

I feel you, gentle

Stepping all over me
