Steps

I know the steps you take to death

when the killer is AIDS and your body is the victim

I watched my cousin diminish piece by piece

Due to the lack of well-needed protection

The killer is AIDS and his body was the victim

A mere moment of pleasure, for eternal pain

He could not fathom the disease that he had gained

Watching him suffer was torture indeed

A mere moment of pleasure, ending in pain

He didn't just harm himself but the family too

For the best education what would you do?

I know the steps you take to death...
