Steps to the Edge


Solitude and empty windows Silence in the cold strewn world Silence in hardened hearts Live through wished death Searching for unknown goals Something to fill the gaping space Howling memories die screaming Ruins within ruined mind Running circles and returning and returning Caring in the past Face open to the freezing cold Drifting and running and hiding from things that don't exist Barren house and cheap hotels Dirty and forgotten and done One night stands on snowy rooftops Death lurking below Crooked fingers and evil eyes Lurking in corners Footsteps laid in ashen pavement Hollow hearts buried alone Heaven never existed God has forsaken Corner's home and beggar's meal Know all is nothing but a name Echos against the garden walls Restless nights calling for help Calling for help Searching…
