Steps At A Time

Afraid and tied down to insecurity.

Suppressed by society to barely utter a sound

Time ticks away

tick tock tick tock

Confidence begins to augment

Taking small steps at a time

Learning acceptance in error

Slowly begining to purse the lips ready to vocalize an opinion

Taking larger steps at a time

Striding in confidence

Conveying beliefs and personality to others around

Discovering it's okay to be different

Strength and change has occured when taking steps at  a time.
