Stereotypes.

Why can't I plunge into the

sharpened edges of

stereotypess

I let my pride get in the way

-again

Why can't I like what I like?

...because you're supposed to like them

But I like what I like

Just becuase I like them!

Does that even make sense?

No,

I guess I am just drunk

trying to fight these

stere-o-types.

But you see

You made-

      - me this way.

With antagonizing views

of what I'm supposed to do.

I'm meant to be a mother

oh please, mind if I politely laugh in your face?

I  can not even be bothered,

It isn't my place.

Maybe I'm selfish,

For wanting to be myself

for myself.

But myself has become a cage,

Am I fighting my DNA ?

Are my genes supposed to fit this way?

Don't let me drown in these stereotypes,

I'm already suffocating to fight them.
