sticky fingers

Our situation is like honey

Seemingly sweet, but tremendously sticky

Leaving a big mess

The kind that makes you contemplate whether the taste was worth the trouble

We are messy...

Me and you crave what the other can provide

Hence, physical attraction is what binds us

A smile crosses my face because I know I’m what you want

but not what you need

Our interactions are few and far between

Bears devour their honey before entering a state of deep sleep

Similar to the times we are full and at peace with ourselves

But the moment we awake from our wonderful slumber

We seek something sticky

The burning hunger for each other seems to creep up from under the bed

wrapping itself around our forms

We know it’s a desire that can be denied

but the taste is worth the mess

I am your honey and you are mine

A story that still needs to be written is the only kind worth reading.
