Still

It gets so still it's scary sometimes The world around us just seems frozen The sun is shining, not so bright The wind isn't blowing Some may say peaceful But I say scary When the world gets still I can't help but wonder What does the world have in store for me? For everyone? Is the world just going to cave in And take us all? Or is it just going to hold in there for another couple thousand years Is the world going to give up on us Or is it going to forgive us? We should take better care of this world. Because it just might have the power To swallow us whole.
