Still

I'm still in love with you

but you're not here

I dream of seeing you

but you're not near

As you stand miles away

I'm on my knees

Praying for times to change

I'm saying please

I can't believe I feel this way

I'm still in love with you

hoping someday

you'll be in love with me

You're happiness means more

than these hypothetical what-ifs

where we live together

in harmony

and these misbeliefs

what if it's all in my head

these meaningful feelings

are really just pretend

and all I have is patience

waiting for your return

that these inside feelings

will be out for you to learn

and break my heart when I plead

so these feelings are not in me

or in my head

because I love you

are the words to my demise

my immortal cry

my pathetic lie

to hide away

to never know

the feelings

I want

to show
