Still

Woke up this afternoon.

The planes weren’t there.

The fan was soft in rotation.

Thoughts weren’t clamoring .

No dogs were barking.

Did I mention that the thoughts weren’t clamoring.

Peace , it was possible.

was it the Ambien??

That wasn’t the case , the dreams were of the ex ...

Thats not peace.

That minute , the mind was still and the air was soft.

One day I’ll find it again .

The phone was silent .

The collectors had called.

 Jets were flying .

The dogs were barking.

Horns honking.... it was LA after all....

The chemicals need to be right.

Hey , it’s been a couple years in this site . Right now I’m just settling down and am going to work on getting out a better product . The stuff that is obviously trash will probably be booted. I really have no beef with anyone .... A lot of what I write is about working out a particular demon . A lot is about trying new methods based on the feedback on the poems . .
