Still Happy

I'm drowning.

Weighed down under the surface of the sea,

bubbling, gushing into everything.

The thoughts and feelings of you,

of everyone.

I can't keep everyone happy,

but I try.

I'm buried alive.

Covered up by responsibilities,

while people shovel more on.

But I might be all they have

so I let them.

Because why

should so many have to suffer,

when there is someone to help?
