Still HERE

Not yet five months into this world of misfortune and lies Tubes, oxygen my little one survives Staying strong, even though she can't tell me what's wrong Little eyes crying out As I'm trying to figure out What can I do as a mother to help her pull through O, I know; comfort, wipe tears, be here for always that's what I'll do Sitting, rocking, stroking the soft strands of hair Subconsciously thinking, is this my last time seeing these walls I want to be home with my little one Not here as they poke and stick, keeping her awake as her happiness falls For the moment when she's peaceful as the heavens above She's screaming yelling, just for them to find more problems I keeping giving her my love as it keeps replenishing Finally, we made it home Yet, depended on medicine to stop the return of those fore shaking walls She makes it, we make it For inside lives the will power for life That she has not made plans on giving up For my little one is STILL HERE
