Still here


Most people assume we're okay That the fear and pain just flew away You can make us a new house Even get us a spiffy trim blouse What we've lost is irreplaceable Family members, that’s unmistakable She stripped us for ALL we had So we can’t just sit around being mad No one to blame It was nature’s cynical game Don’t forget us Or claim we're making a fuss We need something money can’t buy We want something that brings a tear to your eye Recognition Remembrance Don’t push us away Because we're here to stay
