Still Here

I heard you in the wind

The whispers were your voice

I felt you in my bones

The sweetest familiar noise

I saw you in the waves

Changing colors like your eyes

I felt you in the spray of water

When the tide became too high

I found you in a crowded classroom

When time had moved so slow

I lost you in a sea of people

When all it was was push and go

I missed you in november

And every day of the year

I asked you to leave my heart

But somehow you’re still here
