still human


anger and mistrust- this is what keeps me going

they control me, and i know i've lost, but yet, pure hurt drives me. 

betrayal and being taken advantage- feelings that are ubiquitous in this world that only knows corruption and sadness. 

yet, empathy and forgiveness arise from the hurt, and then i know that i'm still human somehow.

i'm still human.
