Still Human
I didn't take a small step,
I took a big step.
Heart racing,
heavy breathing
and overthinking
"Was this a good choice?"
"Am I gonna regret this later?"
"Does he really deserve a chance to speak?"
I want to give
everyone a fair chance,
but I've given him one too many.
But he's human.
He deserves another chance
no?
I took the step.
I asked to know
his side.
I asked so I can
make my
own opinion,
knowing both sides.
Not only my mum's.
As much as I despise him,
he deserves a chance.
Right?
What if I'm gonna regret
this decision?
I don't know
if this is right.
But I do know,
I need to make
my own opinion.
With the knowledge of
both sides.
