still i shine
my reality was as dull as the pencil shavings that fell from my school desk, never the less i didn't have time to be stress or depressed , turns out i'm just the next bird leaving the nest, and yet i still shine like the sun rays chasing the reflection of a dime, i remember back in my prime, i ran track and never wasted any value time , because i never really had nothing and watched most of my peers that claim to be like brothers, robbing and doing time, went to go see them , but grew stiff ,and saw the tears running down their eyes, because my presence to me was not another enemy in the behind bars, no crucket cop no just a black boy trying to shine. we spoke for months until we all fell off, it was like being behind bars and civil were to distance enemies, in the summer time they fought, cause civil lost and at the funeral we all dewelled in thought, why , why couldn't the rose blossom ,or why couldn't the bird fly, what made curiosity kill the cat, and if the system was so easy to solve then why couldn't billions calculate that. its easy so let me explain, its because of the internet that made most of the country go insane and fall off the traim, my life is bitter sweat, can really digust my pain, we fall so easily and rise like mars, succeeding by failing, how do you think we made it this far, because even in the dark, my black skin has still shines like twinkling star.
