But still I strive

But still I strive to deprive myself of these ties that I"m in

Convining myself life is fun a nd games till

I'm on my knees praying God please take me out this bind that I'm in

Telling myself lies to scapegoat the truth

Who knows what lies ahead of this life I fit in

This system wasn't made...

It for the lesser skin to depend on..

These system of bills and laws

To fix my flaws and take me far

But to keep me down

Put cuffs on my arms

Anthing but take me far

Like I said not only do I strive I deprive myself of sleep to see that I succeed ,

have means for my family to feast.

Liffe will be good to me

But still I strive.
