Still love

When I said we need to talk,

you said you already knew,

With nothing left to say but,

"I'm sorry, I'll always love you".

I wanted you to fight for us,

you said I had made up my mind,

asked me to let you down easy,

So my words were gentle and kind.

My love, my heart will always belong to you,

You always made me feel happy on days I felt so blue,

And no you made me soft, you made me oh so strong,

Though we've gone our separate ways, you are where I belong.
