Still me

I am broken, scarred and deflowered.

I still wear your burning handprints in areas I never wanted touched.

I am merely a shadow...a withered, empty shell of the young lady you had.

The young woman you took.

Is that what you wanted to hear? Well I got news for you,

I am NOBODY'S victim!

I am still living and breathing!

I refuse to be broken!

I wake every morning thinking of what you did and it motivates me even more not to let you win.

I am worth so much more than what you stole!

And I will continue to thrive and succeed!

What happened doesn't matter, because I am

Still me.
