Still nothing

I try and I try and try, still nothing. I put my heart into everything, still nothing, I spent my whole live searching for the good in my life, still nothing, I try to be nice and generous to everyone I meet, still nothing. I thought I actually found the one, still nothing. I thought we had something special, still nothing. Something that could never be broken, still nothing. I thought you were in love with me, still nothing. I continuously pray, still nothing. I ask when will my dreams come true, still nothing. When will I actually experience happiness, still nothing. Is it really worth living, still nothing. I cry and I cry and cry, still nothing.
